THE European Medicines Agency (EMA) has collaborated with European healthcare professionals and consumer organisations on a new awareness campaign around medicine shortages.
The #ItTakesATeam campaign highlights the shared efforts to prevent and manage shortages across the EU, and the role of all those involved in supporting patients who face these shortages.
Through videos, social media messages, and stories from real people involved in addressing shortages, #ItTakesATeam puts a human face on the coordinated efforts to keep medicines available for those who need them most.
"The campaign represents a step forward in how we engage with healthcare professionals and patients," said Emer Cooke, EMA's Executive Director.
