UK pharmacy minister to step down

ALISTAIR Burt, the controversial British government minister who has overseen proposed massive cuts to pharmacy funding (PD 22 Mar), has made a surprise parliamentary announcement that he will resign in Sep this year. The shock move will see him depart just a month before the cuts take effect, with Burt insisting it is not a “post-Brexit resignation”.
