TWO British men have been sentenced after pleading guilty to supplying unlicensed, and potentially dangerous medicinal products following an extensive investigation by the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).
The pair were charged with offences under Trade Mark, Misuse of Drugs and medicines regulatory legislation after the MHRA received information that suspected illegal medicines were being delivered to their home addresses.
Enforcement officers conducted a raid and found almost 470,000 tablets of unlicensed erectile dysfunction medication, counterfeit medicines and the controlled drug Tramadol, along with records of medicines trading and client details.
