ADVANTAGE
Group pharmacists
including ceo
Steven Kastrinakis
are now
fully accredited
to provide
immunisation
services to prevent
influenza and
whooping cough.
Kastrinakis
said this enables all Advantage
pharmacists to offer a convenient
and accessible service to keep
families and individuals protected.
“We saw it as critical for our
pharmacists to be some of the first
trained to deliver immunisations in
the state of Victoria,” he said.
Each pharmacist in the group
has now undergone a full training
program with Advantage Pharmacy
professional services manager and
PSA approved immunisation trainer,
Amal Kehila.
Kehila says the pharmacists have
found the training both engaging
and rewarding, “knowing they
are leading the expanding role of
pharmacists.”
The Advantage move follows
