in Australia as CellCept, has been
contraindicated for pregnant and
women with child-bearing potential
not using two reliable forms of
contraception, citing an “increase
risk or miscarriage and severe birth
defects following exposure during
pregnancy”.
The drug has also been
contraindicated for breast-feeding
women as a precaution to prevent
“serious adverse reactions in
