The International Pharmaceutical Federation has bestowed its highest honour, the Andre Bedat Award, on Dr Ana I. Martinez, a hospital pharmacist from Puerto Rico who developed a model to incorporate pharmacists in the design and conduct of HIV/AIDS clinical trials.
