XGEVA approval

THE Therapeutic Goods Administration has approved XGEVA (denosumab) injection for the prevention of skeletal-related events in patients with bone metastases from solid tumours. XGEVA is the first RANK Ligand inhibitor for the prevention of skeletal related events in patients with bone metastases from solid tumours. “XGEVA promises to make a real difference for patients with cancer whose daily lives are affected by the consequences of bone metastases,” said Dr Mark Tennyson, Executive Medical Director of Amgen Australia.
