US pharmacy giant Walgreens
has announced the expansion of its
in-store clinics to cover a range of
chronic illnesses.
Currently Walgreens has 370
‘Take Care Clinics’ run by nurse
practitioners and pharmacy
technicians, which were created to
treat minor ailments and provide
some immunisations.
Walgreens said it will now expand
the services offered by the clinics to
address diabetes and heart disease
as well as a range of preventive
