THE Victorian government has launched a new "thunderstorm asthma" warning system in partnership with the Bureau of Meteorology and Melbourne and Deakin universities.
A website and app will provide forecasts and alerts about potential thunderstorm asthma conditions, similar to the catastrophe in Melbourne late last year that killed nine people and saw pharmacists step in to provide emergency aid.
