BRITAIN'S General Pharmaceutical Council has taken action six times in the last year over "fitness-to-practice cases" relating to UK online pharmacies.
Two pharmacists were suspended and warnings issued to others, at least one of which was "linked to concerns around high-risk online prescribing practices using a questionnaire-based prescribing model, reported Chemist Druggist.
The regulator said it was also looking at over 100 open cases involving internet pharmacies.
