Association, has recommended a
trial of non-dispensing pharmacists
integrated into GP-led teams.
A statement issued on Fri cited
international evidence that such
a move could lead to improved
patient outcomes and better
coordination of care.
As a first step the GP groups
“recommend the concept be
trialled and robustly evaluated in
the Australian context to get the
model right and maximise the
