THE ACCC today announced it will not oppose the proposed acquisition of Alcon Laboratories by Novartis, after accepting undertakings from Novartis that it will sell the Alcon injectable miotic business to Bausch and Lomb in Australia to ensure that it’s not the sole supplier in the local market.
