vilanterol trifenatate) for asthma
and chronic obstructive pulmonary
disease (COPD).
Sponsors GSK Australia and
Theravance Inc said it was the
first combination of an inhaled
corticosteroid and a long-acting
beta-agonist, with two strengths
licensed for the treatment of
asthma - 100/25 mcg and 200/25
