The Department of Health has
announced the addition of ten new
drugs onto the Pharmaceutical
Benefits Scheme (PBS).
The therapeutic areas covered
include diabetes (gliptins),
paediatric arthritis (Actemra), lung
infections such as those in cystic
fibrosis patients (Tobi Podhaler -
tobramycin) and a range of cancer,
HIV, colitis and skin therapies.
