AUSTRALIAN researchers have found no evidence of ongoing lung function changes in children who were exposed as babies to the 2014 Hazelwood coalmine fire in Vic.
The coalmine fire had produced extreme air pollution that had lasted for six weeks.
Lung function issues were seen around three years after the fire, but they seem to be resolved by the seven-year follow-up.
