SIRI, the in-built "digital assistant" on the IOS (Apple) system has given very poor direction when it comes to health advice, according to BMJ's Christmas special, highlighting the need to consult a qualified health professional for evidence based answers, especially for sexual health matters.
While the research out of the University of Otago, New Zealand, said digital systems including Siri and Google Assistant gave relatively poor advice, an ordinary Google search often gave useful information.
