Ranbaxy down 18%

Due primarily to strong figures last year when Ranbaxy had an exclusive run with generic Lipitor (atorvastatin), the Indian firm has announced an 18% drop in year-onyear second quarter sales. The company also posted losses of 5.2 billion rupees, primarily due to currency impacts.
