NPS MedicineWise is advising people to check their vaccinations are up to date following reports of six measles cases in Queensland this week. Design and development manager Aine Heaney said while vaccination had made measles relatively rare in Australia, there had been outbreaks across a number of states recently. “The outbreak in Queensland right now will hopefully prompt people to check that everyone in their family is up to date on their immunisation schedule.”
