Pharmacy Daily | PSS website now online

THE Victorian based Pharmacists' Support Service (PSS) is now launching a website to assist Australian pharmacists. The website contains links to a range of useful resources for pharmacists facing stressful situations, and features specific information for pharmacists and pharmacy interns and students including information on topics such as ‘looking after yourself after a pharmacy hold-up’, ‘managing stress’ and ‘healthy living’. “While the website does not in any way replace the value of a listening ear from a colleague and the opportunity to discuss an issue in confidence with a another pharmacist, it does contain some useful information on topics which commonly prompt callers to phone PSS,” said PSS President John Coppock. “Although our volunteers are available to take calls every day of the year between 8am and 11pm the website is available 24 hours a day across all time zones within Australia,” he added.
