A US pharmacist has been
sentenced to four years in prison
after defrauding a medical
insurance company of more than
US$130,000 by submitting false
prescription claims.
51-year-old Patrick Slifka pleaded
guilty to wire fraud and identity
theft over 1411 fraudulent claims to
his personal health care provider,
Wellmark, for medications not
