Pfizer directions

The first directions hearing for the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) case against Pfizer Australia took place yesterday. The ACCC alleges misuse of market power and exclusive dealing in relation to Pfizer’s supply of atorvastatin (PD 14 Feb). Judge Geoffrey Flick said he was surprised Pfizer was not ready to respond to the ACCC’s allegations, the Australian Financial Review reported. A directions hearing is set for 10 Apr.
