THE Department of Health will host a webinar to commence consultations around improving the transparency, timeliness and efficiency of the pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) listing processes later this month.
It will investigate Stage 2 PBS process improvements, including initial submission categories and resubmission pathways; and Draft Procedure Guidance for the standardised redaction of Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee (PBAC) Public Summary Documents (PSDs).
Following the webinar, the consultation papers for the Stage 2 process improvements and draft PSD Procedure Guidance will be available on the PBS website.
The webinar is set for 21 Nov 2-3pm - REGISTER HERE.
The consultation closes 16 Dec and submissions should go to PBSImprovements@health.gov.au.
