MUNDIPHARMA has said it
is “very concerned” that the
introduction of generic forms
of the old, more readily abused
formulation would negate the
benefit of reducing the diversion
and misuse of prescription drugs.
It welcomed generic competition
but believed generics should have
the same abuse deterrence.
The PBAC was considering this
issue at the November meeting
regarding PBS listing of non-tamper
