NZ dumps Tamiflu

The New Zealand government reportedly threw out nearly 1.5m doses of expired antiviral Tamiflu. Fifty five thousand doses of the national stockpile were used during the 2009 H1N1 or swine flu occurrences, leaving nearly 1.5m to expire, which were being replaced, Stuff.co.nz reported. The publication reported that the government had an agreement with Roche where expired Tamiflu could be returned and replacements bought for half the price.
