A group of well-heeled venture capitalists including Australian billionaire Scott Farquhar are backing DermEngine, an "intelligent secure online platform that empowers specialists and primary care physicians for early detection and management of skin cancer".
Launching in Australia today, the system is claimed to mark a "seismic shift in the way skin cancer is screened, tracked and detected in Australia" by providing a care coordination platform that uses artificial intelligence to support doctor decision-making.
