APPOINTMENT booking portal Healthengine has announced that Dan Stinton will become the company's next Chief Executive Officer.
Stinton will join the company in Aug after a five-year tenure with Guardian Australia.
He will take over from Healthengine Founder, Dr Marcus Tan, who will step down as CEO on 30 Jun.
Healthengine shared that Stinton as Managing Director of Guardian Australia was responsible for steering the digital news organisation from a "successful start-up to a major independent player in the Australian media landscape".
"He brings over 20 years of significant experience with SaaS, online marketplace businesses and growing consumer brands to Healthengine."
Prior to his Guardian role, Stinton was the Head of Digital at Seven West Media and Director of Corporate Development at Yahoo7.
He previously co-founded and was CEO of the online marketplace eBev, and continues to support the innovation ecosystem as an investor and advisor to several tech startups.
Healthengine Chief Financial Officer Dan Rohr will step in as interim CEO until Stinton starts, while Dr Tan will support the transition and serve as the interim Medical Director.
