AUSTRALIAN-LISTED medicine management software company MedAdvisor is spreading its wings to reach into the UK and US market with the appointment of two new regional directors for those areas, advancing their global expansion strategy.
Leading the UK strategy will be Jamal Butt, former head of pharmacy with Walgreens Boots Alliance, Boots UK, the UK's largest retail pharmacy group and Celesio UK, the owner of Lloyds Pharmacy and the second largest pharmacy operators in Europe.
The US strategy will be lead by Keith Kiarsis, former senior executive at Adheris Health, the US' largest provider of tailored, direct-to-patient medication adherence programs.
MedAdvisor ceo Robert Read said, "Expansion beyond the Australian market is a key part of our growth strategy and we are pleased to have attracted such high calibre industry players, and are excited to move forward and establish our go-to-market strategy into the UK and US markets."
