A STUDY comparing 2014 US hypertension guidelines with new 2017 recommendations to lower blood pressure by 10mm of mercury to 130/80 has demonstrated further reduction in major CVD events and all-cause mortality, according to a new study published in JAMA Cardiology.
Achieving the new goals could cut deaths by 156,000 annually, the authors said - jamanetwork.com.
