JOHNSON & Johnson has opened
the new J&J California Innovation
Center, one of four regional hubs
being established by the company
in “the world’s leading life science
innovation hotspots”.
The goal of the centre is to
“advance healthcare by catalyzing
collaborations in science and
technology between regional
innovators and the Johnson &
Johnson Family of Companies
across a diverse spectrum of early
stage innovation,” the firm said.
New J&J initiatives in the region
also include an agreement with
Second Genome, an expansion of
Janssen Labs and the launch of a J&J
Innovator Program which provides
funding, resources and guidance to
