MEDICINES in disaster zones: We've certainly been enduring a bad bushfire season, and our thoughts go to our Tasmanian colleagues who are the latest to face the threat and disruption of fires across a broad part of the State. Pharmacists play a critical role in ensuring continuity of supply of medicines during natural disasters - with lost or destroyed prescriptions and identification, limited or no access to funds, and pharmacies damaged, closed or destroyed.
