THE CSIRO has identified a new gene that plays a critical role in regulating the body's immune response to infection and disease, a discovery which could lead to the development of new treatments for influenza, arthritis and even cancer, researchers say.
Dubbed C6 or F106, which identifies the gene's location, the CSIRO is playfully seeking a name for the gene - CLICK HERE.
