An EXPERT Reference Group
(ERG) has been established by the
Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme
to manage the use of the most
expensive medicine in the world at
a cost of $500,000 per patient per
year, eculizumab.
The group will advise on
continuation or re-initiation and
is comprised of experts from
the PBAC, the ANZ Paediatric
Nephrology Association and
