IN ORDER to collect donations for the ‘No Kid Hungry’ campaign over the holiday season; one US pharmacy got creative, pledging to donate US$10 (AU$14) to the charity for every awkward or funny family photo with Santa it received on social media emblazoned with #NoKidHappy. Pictures of crying and miserable children sitting on Santa’s lap flooded social media and Fishtown Pharmacy collected 108 submissions in total, enabling the Philadelphia-based pharmacy to donate US$1,080 to the worthy cause which aimed to eliminate childhood hunger and poverty in the United States. “It’s always nice to feel like part of the solution,” the pharmacy said on its blog.
