IN ORDER to collect donations
for the ‘No Kid Hungry’ campaign
over the holiday season; one US
pharmacy got creative, pledging
to donate US$10 (AU$14) to the
charity for every awkward or
funny family photo with Santa
it received on social media
emblazoned with #NoKidHappy.
Pictures of crying and miserable
children sitting on Santa’s
lap flooded social media and
Fishtown Pharmacy collected 108
submissions in total, enabling the
Philadelphia-based pharmacy to
donate US$1,080 to the worthy
cause which aimed to eliminate
childhood hunger and poverty in
the United States.
