ZIKA virus is certainly having a
global impact and it’s not just
people’s health it’s affecting.
Indian carmaker Tata Motors
has had to rename its soon to be
released hatchback ‘Zica’ - which
the company said was a catchy
acronym for ‘zippy car’.
Tata Motors thought it might
be a tad awkward to launch a car
at this week’s biennial New Delhi
motor show that shared a name
with the current international
health emergency.
Well they do say timing is
everything. Tata is yet to reveal
what the new name will be; we
only know it won’t be mosquito borne
this time around!
Salty, sweet and just purely
bizarre - a new study by British
rail operator Virgin Trains has
revealed the top foods craved by
expectant mums.
Among the top 20 hankerings
were chillies, chorizo, Marmite,
ice and anchovies.
More unusual cravings
discovered during the survey
included charcoal for four in every
100 expectant mums - and even
stones for one in 50.
The top non-food pregnancy
urges were revealed as charcoal,
toothpaste, sponge, newspaper,
stones, toilet paper, dirt and soap.
Mmm tasty.
Don’t worry too much yet,
Chocolate, crisps, sweets and
cheese were the fairly safe top
four desires of pregnant ladies.
