SHEEPISH final resting place.
A Scottish funeral director
is offering a new take on ecofriendly
funerals, by making
caskets made out of wool.
John Fraser and Sons is
offering the “100 per cent pure
new British wool” coffins as an
alternative to the traditional
wooden casket, reports The
Scotsman.
The company says the
environmentally-friendly “softlanding”
caskets are surprisingly
strong - and can support a body
weighing up to 42 stone.
Available in white or brown,
the coffins feature a personalised
name plate, and a biodegradable
waterproof base. The above article was sent to subscribers in Pharmacy Daily's issue from 22 Jul 13 To see the full newsletter, see the embedded issue below or CLICK HERE to download Pharmacy Daily from 22 Jul 13
