HI, cholesterol!
A British woman has beaten
odds of more than 11 billion to
one by cracking open an egg with
a whopping four yolks.
The eggstraordinary incident
occurred after the 63-year-old
spotted the “mega monster” egg
when it was delivered to the shop
where she works as a volunteer.
The quadruple-yolker was
almost 8cm long, 15cm in
diameter and weighed nearly
250g - about three times the size
of a normal Extra Large egg.
“I imagine there must have
been a certain amount of clucking
when that was laid,” she said.
“An ostrich would have been
