Washington state has apparently
issued the first retail marijuana
licenses this week, meaning shops
planning to sell cannabis to adults
over 21 will be doing so legally.
Reportedly, officials expect
to have more than 300 pot
shops across the state, Sapa-AP
reported.
At recreational marijuana shop
Cannabis City, owner James
Lathrop said he planned to open
his store on Tuesday at noon,
saying “Know your audience:
We’re talking stoners here”, the
publication reported.
Prices on the first day of sales
were expected to reach $25 a
gram or higher, the publication
reported.
