AUTHORITIES in Norway have opened what is being described as the most spectacular "loo with a view" in the world.
The stunning architectural masterpiece at Ureddplassen (pictured) offers the ultimate serenity when spending a penny, with a viewing terrace overlooking the sparse Norwegian Sea framed by the lofty Arctic mountains of the Lofoten Wall.
It's located on the picturesque Norwegian Scenic Route or Helgelandskysten and is also pitched as an ideal picnic spot for an all-nighter viewing the Northern Lights.
The $3m frosted glass and concrete bathroom building offers marble benches outside for any "unlikely queue members," according to the UK Telegraph.
While we're on the subject of making the most of the great outdoors, there's a job going for a lifeguard at a nudist camping area in Rhode Island, USA.
The Dyer Woods Nudist Campground has advertised for someone to keep patrons safe while swimming, and stresses that while the lifeguard is allowed to wear a swimsuit it is definitely not necessary.
As well as swimming, the holiday area offers nude hiking and volleyball, with the Providence Journal reporting that "once people try going au naturel in nature they will fall in love with it".
