The US Federal Trade Commission
has charged four companies with
deceptively marketing weight-loss
products.
It said the companies made
unfounded promises by saying food
additives, skin creams and other
dietary supplements could help
consumers lose weight, the New
York Times reported.
The companies are Sensa
Products, L’Occitane, HCG Diet
Direct and LeanSpa.
