The TGA is inviting comment on proposed amendments to the Poisons Standard covering ‘cosmetic use’ and/or ‘personal care use’ “to better define these terms and their intent and purpose.” There are also proposals about the use in cosmetics of a range of substances including salicylic acid, methanol, ethylene glycol monomethyl ether, triethanolamine and sulfites.
