A pharmacy in Victoria's Yarra Valley has been broken into, with the target of the theft apparently being codeine products which were available over-the counter just a week ago before they were rescheduled as prescription-only.
A sledgehammer and a crowbar was used to access the Lilydale Lakeside Pharmacy in the early hours of Mon morning, with the intruders making off with 13 boxes of Prodeine Forte 500mg/30mg tablets.
