SUBMISSIONS are now open for the Australian Pharmacy Council (APC) Dr Erica Sainsbury Awards, which recognise and reward leaders in pharmacy education and practice who have demonstrated a commitment to investing in the pharmacists of the future.
The APC Dr Erica Sainsbury Early Career Pharmacy Educator Award is for an individual who demonstrates innovation and passion in teaching and who places students first and foremost.
The award is open to both non-pharmacist and pharmacist educators, tutors and work integrated learning practice supervisors, and the winner will receive an $8,000 monetary prize.
The APC Dr Erica Sainsbury Pharmacist Supervisor Award, is for pharmacists who display the attributes and skills considered invaluable in the training of pharmacy interns during the period of supervised practice.
This award will be based on nominations by provisional registered pharmacists (interns) only, and carries a prize of $1,000.
