ANPHA feedback sought

The Australian National
Preventive Health Agency (ANPHA)
is seeking feedback on the State of
Preventative Health 2013 Report
which launched at its recent
Canberra symposium.
The Symposium featured a
number of high profile speakers
including 2013 Australian of the
Year Ita Buttrose, Professor Alan
Lopez, Director of the Global
Burden of Disease Group, and
Professor Stephen Simpson,
Academic Director of the Charles
Perkins Centre.
The State of Preventive Health
Report (CLICK HERE), an overview
of the current health challenges
facing Australians in relation to
chronic disease, was launched
during the event.
The Report highlights the
substantial leadership and effort
that is underway in Australia to
reduce the key risk factors for
chronic disease, including obesity
and physical inactivity, tobacco use
and the harmful use of alcohol.
The Agency wants to find out how
people are using the Report and
what elements are most valuable,
with a short online survey in which
all feedback and comments will
remain anonymous.
The results of this survey
will inform the planning and
development of the 2015 report.
