THE Pharmacy Board of Australia has released quarterly registration data for the period 01 Jul-30 Sep 2017, indicating a national total of 30,458 pharmacists.
Of those 27,679 have general registration, 1,661 have provisional registration and there are 1,110 non-practising pharmacists.
The majority (6,185) are aged 30-34, followed closely by the 20-29 year old demographic with 6,180.
