THE Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency is urging health professionals to make contact with it online, rather than over the phone.
The regulator has issued a warning on its website stating it is "currently receiving a high volume of queries", warning it may take longer than usual to answer calls.
"If you are not able to wait you may wish to call us back at a later time or you can contact use by making a web enquiry," AHPRA said.
