TERRYWHITE Chemmart 2018 Pharmacist of the Year, Karen Brown has reported her initiative, the annual Samford Health Expo, has again proved to be an outstanding success this year.
The Samford Health Expo has grown to include more than 100 stands and exhibits from its humble beginnings four years ago with just 15 stalls in the local school hall.
"It is a fantastic event that brings the local businesses and sports and support groups of Samford together to promote the health & wellbeing of the community," Brown said.
"Hundreds of people attended throughout the day and experienced the selection of stands and healthy food trucks along with amazing demonstrations including those from local fitness groups."
