ALLERGAN plc has announced that its current managing director for Australia, Glen Curren, has been appointed to a new leadership role in the company's European Region and will be relocating to the United Kingdom.
Curran has been in his role since August 2011 and during this time has established a strong and dynamic business, delivering 12 successful product launches during his tenure, the company said.
He also steered the organisation through the company's complex combination with Actavis.
The current vice president of international strategic marketing for eye care, Gerry Muhle, will be transitioning to the role of country manager for the Australian and New Zealand business.
The appointments are integral to Allergan's international proposed organisational re-alignment, consolidating from five to three regions, such that as Australia and New Zealand are grouped with the Middle-East and Africa region.
