CONSUMER confidence jumped
an impressive 2.5% to 117.6 this
week, placing it 4.3% above its long
run average, according to the ANZ
Roy Morgan survey.
Household views of the 12 month
economic outlook were up 9.6%
with the five-year outlook also
improved, up 4.6%, and consumers
were also more optimistic about
their finances with current finances
flat but future finances up 1.7%.
The data is based on around 1,000
