HEALTH officials in the US state of
Pennsylvania - which is the location
of five nuclear power plants - are
offering local residents free
potassium iodide tablets.
The distribution will take place
this Thursday, with the tablets
available to anyone who lives or
works within a 10 mile radius of the
nuclear power stations.
