THAT’S one powerful sneeze.
Whilst the rest of the world was
enjoying New Year’s Eve frivolities,
Darco Sangermano was sneezing
a bullet out of his right nostril.
According to reports
Sangermano ended up in the ER
after a romantic stroll through the
streets of Naples with his girlfriend
on NYE ended when a stray bullet
from an unseen gun pierced
through the right side of his head.
Amazingly the bullet, having
broken through the temporal
bone near his temple, travelled
through the right side of his head,
behind his right eye socket to
lodge in his nasal cavity, without
causing any major damage.
After having sneezed out the
offending bullet, Sangermano
underwent surgery to remove
bone fragments from his right
eye, and is expected to make a
full recovery.
NEVER too old?
A 94-year old man from Haryana
in northern India is claiming the
title of the world’s oldest father.
According to reports, Ramajit
Raghav’s son, Karamjit, was
delivered naturally in December
by Raghav’s 50 year old wife.
Responding to questions over
his ability to care for the child
Raghav told media that he fully
expects to be around well into his
son’s adulthood saying “I will die
only if a black snake bites me
and that is very unlikely”.
Raghav also told reporters that
his diet of a kilo of butter and
three litres of milk per day is the
key to staying young.
HYPNOTISM is the answer.
Leaving health concerns at the
door, cobbler Martin Connellan
opted to have his staff hypnotised
into believing they were warm
whilst working in -0°C temperatures,
rather than installing heating.
Connellan told media that
initially he was skeptical of
hypnotism, but has been
converted after having his staff
“reprogrammed” into believing
the temperature in his workshop
is nice and warm.
